Choso

Choso is a Death Painting — a hybrid of human and curse created by Kenjaku during his time as Noritoshi Kamo the Elder. He is the eldest of nine Death Paintings and was born from the blood of a woman and a cursed spirit. After being released from confinement, Choso has been on a mission to protect his brothers. He initially targeted Yuji, believing him to be responsible for the deaths of his younger brothers, but later discovered that Yuji is actually his younger brother by blood, sharing the same mother through Kenjaku's manipulations. Choso wields Blood Manipulation to an even higher degree than Noritoshi, using techniques like Piercing Blood and Supernova. He becomes one of Yuji's most important allies during the Culling Games and Shinjuku Showdown.
