Mai Zenin

Mai Zenin is Maki's younger twin sister and a student at Kyoto Jujutsu High. Unlike Maki, Mai is cynical, lazy, and openly resentful of her sister. She uses the Construction Technique, which allows her to create small objects from cursed energy — primarily bullets for her revolver. Mai's relationship with Maki is deeply toxic, shaped by the Zenin clan's abuse and their mother's favoritism. In the Perfect Preparation arc, Mai sacrifices herself so Maki can achieve her full potential, creating a perfect cursed tool from her own soul in her final moments. Her death is the catalyst for Maki's massacre of the Zenin clan.
